What is the Ngangk Ngabala Ngoonda (Sun Safety) of Young Mob of WA project all about?
The Healthy Skin team, in collaboration with Elder Researchers and Aboriginal Community Members, is working to strengthen sun safety knowledge, practices, and skin cancer risk awareness among Aboriginal children and young people in Western Australia. This will be achieved through the development of community-led, co-designed health promotion resources.
To help shape these resources, we’re inviting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and young people to complete a short survey about sun safety.
There are no right or wrong answers – we’re just keen to understand what you already know and do when it comes to sun protection.
What is involved?
