Current studies

To improve the health of the community through immunisation and prevention of infectious diseases, we are conducting clinical trials of vaccines.

Our mission is to improve the health of the community through immunisation and the prevention of infectious diseases.

We achieve this by leading national studies focusing on a range of diseases including influenza, pneumococcal, meningococcal, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), COVID-19 and whooping cough.

Our studies play a vital role in the development and evaluation of vaccines recommended for children and adults throughout Australia.

Your involvement in our research could help pave the way for a world-first RSV vaccine or longer-lasting protection against whooping cough.
