RISE RSV Survey
You are invited to participate in a research project that seeks to reduce the health and economic burden of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in newborns, babies and young children across Australia and in vulnerable priority groups.
RSV is a leading cause of respiratory infections worldwide and across Australia, with the most severe illness affecting babies and young children.
This study aims to understand:
- What parents and prospective parents know about RSV and RSV immunisation
- Parental preferences for either maternal (while pregnant) or infant (soon after birth) immunisation
- Where parents and prospective parents get immunisation information from and how they might access immunisation services
- How to best support informed decision-making about RSV immunisation

Am I eligible to participate in this study?
You are eligible to participate in this study if you are either:
- A person, or partner of a person, who is pregnant or planning to be pregnant in the next six months and currently resides in Australia
OR
- The parent of at least one child who is between 0 and 2 years of age and currently resides in Australia
AND you must be over 18 years of age.
